Welcome

On behalf of the Organising Committee, we would like to invite you to take part in our next IIM Meeting, which is going to a virtual platform, due to the COVID-19 situation.

Our virtual programme will take place October 16-18th, 2020. The meeting will retain much of the scope of what we had originally planned before the pandemic, but in a shorter format. We will feature outstanding speakers, all leading scientists actively working in important areas of myology, including Davide Cacchiarelli (Telethon Institute for Genetic Medicine, Napoli-Italy), Gabrielle Kardon (University of Utah, Salt Lake City-USA), Thomas Rando (Stanford University-USA) and Vittorio Sartorelli (National Institute of Health, Bethesda-USA). Interactive oral and poster presentations will fill the three half-days program. In addition, on October 15th, 2020, we will also have a pre-meeting Advanced Myology Course dedicated to young trainees. Participants to the Course will receive a high training certificate with the relative achievement of university educational credits (2 CFU).
